The Elmira Lady Express Basketball Program is a non-profit organization, providing young ladies from the Twin Tiers area of New York State the opportunity to develop and enhance their basketball skills and appreciation of the game year round.

Our program promotes and encourages the development of a strong positive character and sportsmanship in all our players. We also encourage our players to remain a part of our program beginning at age 13 and continuing through to their Senior year of high school. This has created for us a strong program that continues to grow and expand in the number of players and teams that we have. It has also been a foundation to the program in that it has allowed the participants to develop long lasting relationships that extend into the off-season through correspondence and support at each other's scholastic contests.

Our extensive tournament schedule not only gives the players over forty contests; it promotes player visibility to the many college and university scouts and coaches from across the country. We travel throughout the North and Southeast portions of the country to more than ten tournaments, ending with a trip to Washington D.C. to play in the Junior Nationals.

Our staff brings many years of coaching experience from every level of the game to the program, as well as the assistance of highly successful Division I players to provide for our participants some of the best instruction in the area.

Finally, we rely on our local businesses and organizations for financial support, and we are extremely fortunate to have such generous assistance from them. Without their generosity this program would not be possible, and for this we extend our deepest and fondest appreciation. Thank you very much.
