Many high school Christmas tournaments throughtout the Twin Tiers and Northern Pennsylvania areas. Many Elmira Lady Express players participated with their high school teams and brought home five Championships plus three MVP awards. Horseheads, Canisteo-Greenwood, Ithaca, Watkins Glen, and Wellsboro were crowned champions. Raegan Ryan, Alex Marple, and Taylor Chaffee were the MVP's.Congratulations girls and keep up the great work!

Raegan Ryan: MVP scored 35 points, 11 rebounds, and 5 assists beating Jasper-Troupsburg 63-58 in the Championship game of the Alfred State Christmas tournament, scored 21 points in 61-59 win over Section VI Randolf.

Taylor Chaffee: MVP scored 28 points, 17 rebounds, 2 steals, 2 assists, and 4 blocks in a 59-56 win over Newfield, scored 15 points in a 51-40 win over Waverly for the Championship of the Watkins Glen Holiday Tournament.

Alex Marple: MVP scored 26 points and grabbed 10 rebounds in Wellsboro's 69-63 win over Towanda in the Championship game of the Wellsboro Christmas Tourney, scored 15 points in Wellsboro's semi-final win over Mansfield.

Allie Whitehouse: scored 25 points in Wellsville's 58-32 win over Campbell-Savona, scored 11 points in Wellsville's 64-45 loss to Alleghany-Limestone in the Championship game at Alfred State College.

Taylor Szwec: scored 25 points in Candor's 69-27 win over GMU.

Maria Thannhauser: scored 22 points in Newfield's 62-51 win over Corning West, scored 21 points in Newfield's 59-56 loss to Watkins Glen.

Katie Peterson: scored 18 points in Ithaca's 47-43 win over previously unbeaten Tioga in the Owego Christmas tournament Championship game.

Myranda Hogan: scored 18 points in Corning West's 59-44 loss to Waverly, scored 14 points in Corning West's 61-52 loss to Newfield.

Samantha Courtney: scored 17 points grabbed 12 rebounds in Marathon's 58-34 semi-final win, and scored 10 points in Marathon's 47-24 loss to Bainbridge-Guilford. Samantha was selected to the All-Tournament team.

Taylor DePalma: scored 14 points in Ithaca's 47-43 win over Owego.

Alyssa DeRichie: scored 8 points in Horseheads 45-34 Championship win over Elmira Notre Dame in the Coaches vs Cancer Tournament in Elmira.
